The Gerstner International GI-M20A Hobby Mid-Base Oak 5-Drawer Hobby Chest is an imported, classic American style chest, constructed of red oak hardwood and red oak veneers. It has a flat, felt-lined top that comes in handy wherever space is a premium. Stack whatever was already on the worktop right on this base—maybe a tool chest, a computer monitor, a set of books, a collection on display, a stand mixer, sewing machine, or tabletop machinery…whatever takes up table space. This way, important equipment is tidily displayed without wasting room, and now there’s additional locking storage underneath it—who couldn’t use more of that? This base has two full-width, felt-lined drawers. They're mounted on friction-reducing, molded plastic drawer slides. The M20A features a locking bar instead of a front panel, which increases the usable space in the drawers.

The chrome-plated steel hardware is hefty, durable and stylish, while the side handles allow for portability even when loaded with tools.
